Initiation
Equestrian initiation at the Haras du Morne is the foundation of all activities offered to individuals with little or no riding experience. This introduction takes place in the quarry, a large, secure area at the entrance to the stud farm. An equestrian instructor is on hand at all times to guide and supervise. All necessary equipment is provided.

Intended exclusively for experienced riders, the horse swimming experience adds an extra dimension by allowing riders to lead their mounts into the sea water up to saddle height. The horse swims with its rider on its back. It's a truly enchanting moment.
For experienced riders, an incredible ride is organized on the mountain of Le Morne, on a path chosen in collaboration and with the unique authorization of the Heritage Trust Fund du Morne - Mountain classified by UNESCO.
During this activity, designed exclusively for children under the age of 12, who are the budding future riders, a specially trained instructor supervises this age group. Children are supervised with activities specially designed to match their level of development. They ride ponies perfectly adapted to their size.
